Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: Weisman Art Museum
In her 1976 survey, Minnesota Painting and Sculpture from 1820 to 1914, Rena Neumann Coen argued that the tie that binds Minnesota artists is neither a style nor even a characteristic but rather “a tenuous, though real, sense of shared experience – an identification, however fleeting, with the Minnesota scene.” Does this hold true now? Did it then? Three local art community members will present pecha kucha style responses to the evening’s question followed by a lively moderated discussion with the audience.
Parking is available in the parking garage located under the museum. Limited meter parking is available on the street.
