Join University of Minnesota science and engineering students and faculty at The Works Museum for the museum’s gooiest, messiest, most electrifying event of the year! Enjoy live demos, amazing projects, and more with The Works and science and engineering partners from all over the Twin Cities.
Tech Fest offers a unique chance for families to learn about engineering and technology from real engineers and scientists. Plus, kids roll up their sleeves and dig into projects like Tech Take-Apart, where kids destroy old electronics to explore the components inside and making BrushBots - tiny “bots” they can take home. Everyone is encouraged to touch, try, and have fun.
University of Minnesota invited exhibitors include:
• Department of Chemistry
• Department of Civil Engineering
• Department of Bioproducts and Biosystems
• Minnesota Space Grant Consortium
