Graduate Diversity Recruitment Weekend

9/25/19, 6:00 PM

About this event

This Graduate Diversity Recruitment Weekend is designed for students who are historically under-represented in Anthropology and Geography, Environment and Society graduate programs and who are interested in learning about graduate training in these departments at the University of Minnesota.

The cost of transportation and lodging will be covered for applicants selected to participate in this program.

Selected participants will meet with individual department faculty in their areas of interest, learn about Minnesota’s interdisciplinary Ph.D. structure, get a sense of life as graduate students and meet potential future colleagues, participate in department events, such as joint colloquia, reading groups, workshops, and graduate seminars. Undergraduate students, masters students, and recent college graduates from historically under-represented groups are eligible to apply.
