Religious Studies Program Presents

Locating Religion(s): Cartography, Mapping, and Territory in the Study of Religion

8/5/19, 9:00 AM

About this event

This interdisciplinary summer workshop will explore efforts to represent the spatial situations of religions or religious communities. We are interested in looking across traditions, time periods, and geographical regions.  We are interested in “religions” broadly, not only as a category signaling both so-called “world religions” but also indigenous traditions, new religious movements, and other groups and practices.
