Through the Parks Foundation’s always-free Next Generation of Parks events, global design innovators and thought leaders showcase the most exciting new park destinations and delve into important issues of place affecting the Twin Cities community today.

Florence Williams is the author of the award-winning book, Nature Fix: Why Nature Makes Us Happier, Healthier, and More Creative. She is also a contributing editor at Outside Magazine and freelance writer for the New York Times, National Geographic, Mother Jones, Slate, and other publications.
