Join us for a symposium that coincides with World of Matter: Mobilizing Materialities, an exhibition and series of events that explore the ways that materials in the ground mobilize multi-scale geopolitics as well as social movements. This artistic and educational initiative is set against the backdrop of the Great Lakes region, an historical and contemporary hub of heavy industry, transport, and intensive material extraction. Parking, Accessibility, and Cost
Parking is available nearby on the street, at the 21st and 19th Avenue South ramps, and the 5th Street South lot; hourly or event rates apply. These parking locations and the Regis Center for Art are wheelchair-accessible. Exhibitions and related events are free and open to the public.
World of Matter: Mobilizing Materialities is presented by the Katherine E. Nash Gallery, the School of Architecture, and the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Minnesota and is organized in collaboration with World of Matter.
