Goldstein Museum of Design Presents

The Demonstration Garden: Designing Flowers Exhibition

6/9/18, 10:00 AM

About this event

June 9-September 9, 2018

Why do we adorn ourselves in nature? Explore our eternal fascination with flowers and the different hand and machine technologies used to produce their likenesses. From the maudlin charms of English tea cups to the bold embroidery of traditional Oaxaca dress, this exhibition reveals the desire to transform fibers, dyes, glass, metals, and clays into flowers.
