"Making Media Law Great Again: The First Amendment in the Time of Trump" featuring David McCraw, Deputy General Councel of The New York Times.

The 32nd Annual Silha Lecture will feature David McCraw, Deputy General Counsel of The New York Times.  McCraw's October 2016 letter to Donald Trump's attorney defending the Times' right to publish went viral, and was read by more than two million people.  McCraw is among the nation's most prolific litigators of freedom of information cases.  In 2010, the New York City Bar awarded McCraw its Cyrus Vance Award for his international pro bono work on behalf of free expression.  He is an adjucnct professor at the NYU Law School.
