Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction is about taking control of our lives, being aware of influences that affect our well-being and health, and finding peace-of-mind and balance in an oftentimes chaotic world. MBSR will teach you to consciously and methodically deal with stress, pain, illness, and the demanding challenges of everyday life. In this MBSR Information Session, detailed information will be provided about the Center for Spirituality and Healing's 8-week MBSR program. You will be introduced to the program and the concept of mindfulness, have the opportunity to partake in a brief meditation practice, and learn about the benefits that can be derived from a personal practice.
