Description:

Leslie Lockett is an Assistant Professor of English at Ohio State University, where she specializes in Old English language and literature, medieval Latin, manuscript studies, and early medieval intellectual history. Her first book, Anglo-Saxon Psychologies in the Vernacular and Latin Traditions, was published by the University of Toronto Press in 2011.  She has begun work on her next book, a comprehensive study of Latin retrograde verse (that is, poetry that is metrically and syntactically viable whether you read it forwards or backwards).
