A new film series will be launched in the Twin Cities, called Izun/Mizan*: A Film and Dialogue Series (*"Balance" in Hebrew & Arabic) this February.
Designed for interfaith communities as well as college campuses, IZUN/MIZAN will feature award-winning films that portray the complexity of the Israeli/Palestinian conundrum, followed by an in-depth, respectful dialogue guided by trained facilitators about the issues raised in the film and the conflict itself.
Sponsored by the University of Minnesota’s Departments of History, German, Scandinavian and Dutch, Gender and Women’s Studies and housed under the Center for Jewish Studies, Izun/Mizan will feature the film above plus two others on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis.
