National cyber security experts and technology business leaders will gather Oct. 22 and 23 at the Minneapolis Convention Center for the third annual Cyber Security Summit. The University of Minnesota Technological Leadership Institute is once again one of the Summit’s presenting sponsors.
The Cyber Security Summit seeks to change the paradigm of how we look at digital space and security, focusing on demystifying the impact that cyber security has on our nation's government and business operations. The mission of the Summit is to establish a multi-stakeholder consortium that brings together industry, government, and academic interests in an effort to improve the state of cyber security on both a domestic and international level.
Through prominent Keynote speakers and engaging panel discussions, Summit participants will gain insight and perspectives from the leading policy, business and technology minds on this topic.
In addition, panel discussions and networking breaks will allow for those attending the Summit to actively participate and join the discussion on cyber security.
The 2013 Cyber Security Summit is open to representatives of public sector organizations, private sector organizations, and those interested on this topic. Great savings are available for faculty and staff from any college or university who register before Sunday, Sept. 15. Special rates are available to students who register by Oct. 18.
