An Eye-Witness View from Gaza

On December 6, from noon to 1 p.m., join members of the Humphrey School to hear from alumnus Bassam Nasser (Humphrey Fellow 1998-1999) about his experiences during the most recent round of Gaza fighting.

Bassam is the Field Manager for Catholic Relief Services, a major US-based relief and development group with over 9,000 employees worldwide (www.crs.org). Bassam has recently been interviewed by the New York Times on the economic situation in Gaza caused by Israel's blockade. Via video conference, Bassam will be speak about the current situation in Gaza with Prof. James Ron, the Stassen Chair for International Affairs at Humphrey (www.jamesron.com), and will take questions from members of both the virtual and in-person audiences.
