The University of Minnesota’s School of Architecture and Civil Engineering Department will host the 11th North American Masonry Conference (11NAMC) June 5-8 on the Minneapolis main campus. The quadrennial conference showcases masonry research conducted around the globe via oral presentation of research results. Nearly 130 papers from 22 countries have been accepted for publication in the final proceedings for the event. Topics of the research include such diverse issues as seismic resistance and case studies of recent events, the sustainability life cycle analysis of masonry materials, and restoration of historic masonry structures.
