Description:

Please join the Immigration History Research Center for a lecture by Roger Daniels, Charles Phelps Taft Professor Emeritus of History, University of Cincinnati entitled "Immigration and Ethnic History 1963-2013: A Personal Survey."

Professor Daniels received his Ph.D. from UCLA in 1961 and is a past president of both the Immigration and Ethnic History Society and the Society for Historians of the Gilded Age and the Progressive Era. He has served as a consultant with the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians. Daniels has written widely about Asian Americans and immigration, including books such as Prisoners without Trial; Concentration Camps, North America; and The Politics of Prejudice.
