Join the Immigration History Research Center for a Summer Global REM presentation with Professor Chia Youyee Vang. Professor Vang is an associate professor in the Department of History at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She will give a lecture based on her current research on Southeast Asia entitled "An Enduring Place of Refuge: International Institute of Minnesota." Her research interests include 20th century U.S.-Asia relations, Cold War politics, Asian America history, refugee migration, transnational and diaspora communities.

Please bring a brown bag lunch; beverages will be provided.
