Please join us for the first gathering of the Immigration History Research Center's Somali American Research Series exploring histories and contemporary issues.

In the morning, we welcome Abdi Roble and Doug Rutledge of the Somali Documentary Project.

Enjoy light refreshments at our brownbag lunch to connect U of M, local, and community researchers together.

In the afternoon, stay for a presentation by Ahmed Yusuf, author of the just-published book Somalis in Minnesota.
