Description:

Paul Reitter is associate professor of German and director of the Humanities Institute at Ohio State. He is the author of two books, The Anti-Journalist (2008) and On the Origins of Jewish Self-Hatred (2012). Paul is, as well, the co-editor of the volume The Kraus Project, which will be published later this year. His articles and reviews have appeared in such forums as Jewish Social Studies, American Imago, and Harper’s Magazine; and he is currently completing a collection of essays on German-Jewish culture. In addition, Paul is working on a new translation of Solomon Maimon’s autobiography, as well as an anthology of sources having to do with the rise of the modern research university.
