Ally Training 201 is designed for those who have attended Ally Training 101. In this interactive training, we explore the intersections of gender and sexuality with race, ethnicity, class, ability, age, faith and culture through a critical discussion of power and privilege.
Attendees will be given the tools to be allies across multiple identities and assist in creating and sustaining an inclusive and accessible environments in the many positions, roles and communities where we live and work, and share specific strategies for overcoming the barriers we face when advocating for GLBT issues and interrupting oppression.
With case studies, Q&A, and interactive activities, participants will increase their education and learn to become better change agents in all aspects of their lives.
