Bruce Clark is a writer and editor at the Economist whose jobs have included international news editor, religion editor and international security editor. He has reported from Moscow for The (London) Times and from Washington for The Financial Times. He is the author of Twice A Stranger (Harvard University Press), on the Greek-Turkish population exchange, and An Empire's New Clothes (Yale University Press), a look at post-Soviet Russia.
