Join us for a conversation between Curt Brown, Kate Parry, and Iyekiyapiwin Darlene St. Clair on the Star Tribune's recent six-part series, In the Footsteps of Little Crow: 150 Years after the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862. What was the genesis of this series, and what has been the reaction to it?

Curt Brown, author of the series, is a reporter for the Minneapolis Star Tribune. In addition to covering regional issues and writing profiles, he contributes to the “Escape Artists” travel blog and writes bi-weekly Sunday “My Minnesota” mini-profiles, offering a sense-of-place look at intriguing Minnesotans. Assistant Managing Editor Kate Parry directs major writing projects and trains writers throughout the Star Tribune newsroom. She supervises the editors, writers and columnists in the Features department. Iyekiyapiwin Darlene St. Clair is a Visiting Associate Professor of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota.
