CAFE SCIENTIFIQUE: Sustainable Building Research

Description:

Rachel O'Malley and Dan Handeen, Research Fellows at the Center for Sustainable Building Research, will lead an interactive discussion on sustainable building practices at the Bell Museum's Cafe Scientifique. O'Malley and Handeen, along with John Carmody from CSBR have collaborated with the Bell Museum to create the new exhibit opening this month at the Bell Museum, "Sustainable Shelter: Dwelling Within the Forces of Nature," an exhibit that explores innovative home building technologies and strategies that can help restore the health and viability of natural systems.

Cafe Scientifique takes place Tuesday, October 19, 2010, 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:00), at the Bryant-Lake Bowl Theater in Minneapolis.
