Amy Scarborough, PHD Department of Design and Human Environment, Oregon State University will present research from her doctoral dissertation on the role of media in protecting species within the fashion industry. Her talk with illustrate women's roles in activism against the feather trade and is given in conjunction with GMD's exhibition Flights of Fancy: A History of Feathers in Fashion.
